| 1. | Complaints and concerns relating to Raytheon's accounting, internal accounting controls or auditing matters will be referred to the Audit Committee, and will be tracked and investigated in the ordinary course by the Company's Ethics Office with the assistance of the Company's Legal Department unless otherwise instructed by the Audit Committee. All other communications will be referred to the Lead Director of the Raytheon Board and tracked by the Office of the Corporate Secretary. |
| 2. | The Raytheon Board has requested that certain items, unrelated to the duties and responsibilities of the Board, be excluded. These items include: spam; junk mail and mass mailings; product complaints and inquiries; resumes and other forms of job inquiries; inquiries regarding employee benefits or other employment opportunities; surveys; and business solicitations or advertisements. In addition, material that is hostile, threatening, illegal or similarly unsuitable will not be referred to the Lead Director. |
