Raytheon to blast off at USA Science and Engineering Festival
  • Raytheon reveals secrets behind weather forecasting
  • See kids building homemade rockets

WASHINGTON, (Apr. 17, 2014)

PHOTO AND INTERVIEW OPPORTUNITY

WHAT: On Friday, April 25, the "sneak peek" day for registered school groups, military families and the media, a Raytheon systems engineer will offer a rare behind the scenes look at the big data Raytheon processes and is used by every meteorologist in the country to forecast the weather. Systems Engineer/weather data expert available for interview.


Raytheon is also hosting a "build your own rocket" exhibit, complete with a test range where kids can test out their creations with help from real rocket scientists. Participants can also explore Raytheon's many STEM education resources including www.MathMovesU.com at kiosks.
