US Air Force awards Raytheon $573 million to continue building AMRAAM
Missile work will be completed in Tucson by early 2019

TUCSON, Ariz., March 18, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- The U.S. Air Force has awarded Raytheon Company (NYSE: RTN) a $573 million contract modification to exercise the option on a previously awarded contract for Advanced Medium Range Air-to-Air Missiles (AMRAAM).

Work will be performed in Tucson, Arizona, and is expected to be complete by February 2019.
