Dividends


Raytheon common stock dividends are payable quarterly, upon authorization of the Board of Directors, normally at the end of January, April, July, and October. The current quarterly dividend is $0.31 per common share. Click here for dividend history.

Would you like to receive your quarterly dividends in a more timely fashion? Sign up for direct deposit. Mailing Stock Certificates


Whenever mailing stock certificates through the U.S. Postal Service, stockholders are advised to use REGISTERED MAIL and insure the parcel for the replacement cost of the shares being mailed (e.g., 2 percent of the aggregate market value at the time of mailing). If insured certificates sent by registered mail are lost during mailing, stockholders can collect the replacement cost of their shares from the Post Office.

Tax Reporting


1099-DIV and 1099B Reporting: American Stock Transfer & Trust Co. (AST) prepares and mails forms 1099-Div and 1099B annually, before January 31 for the preceding year's taxes. Often, your form 1099-Div is attached to the fourth quarter dividend check. If you do not have the form in your possession, you may call AST at 800.360.4519 to obtain your tax information or to request a duplicate form.

Transfer of Ownership

To transfer certificates that you hold in your possession, follow these simple steps:
  1. Write the name, address and social security number of the person to whom the shares should be transferred (the transferee) on the back of the certificate(s) you wish to transfer, or indicate the appropriate information in a letter of instruction.

  2. Endorse the certificates on the back and have the signature guaranteed by an eligible guarantor institution such as a commercial bank, trust company, security broker or dealer, credit union, or a savings association participating in a medallion program approved by the Securities Transfer Association, Inc. Unfortunately, no other form of signature verification can be accepted, so please make sure that you specify a "medallion signature guarantee" when requesting a signature guarantee from your financial institution. American Stock Transfer & Trust Co. reserves the right to do a credit check on any of the above mentioned institutions. A verification of a Notary Public is not sufficient.
  3. Send the certificates to American Stock Transfer & Trust Co., 6201 15th Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 11219 Your certificates should be mailed by Registered Mail, return receipt requested, and be insured for 2 percent of their current market value, which would cover the cost of a surety bond in the event the certificates are lost.

  4. Please call American Stock Transfer & Trust Co. at 800.360.4519 if:

    • You have lost or cannot locate your certificates. One of American Stock Transfer & Trust Co.'s Customer Service Representatives can provide you with instructions on how you can replace your certificates.

    • You need to transfer certificates or sell dividend reinvestment shares to settle an estate. One of American Stock Transfer & Trust Co.'s Customer Service Representatives can provide you with information regarding documentation required under applicable state securities laws.
